Education Visits

VISITS BY TEACHERS AND STUDENTS TO THE PAH HOMESTEAD, TSB BANK WALLACE ARTS CENTRE OF ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOMED

We have a range of activities designed to allow students from years 1 to 13 to actively engage with the exhibitions. These activities cover different strands of the curriculum and can be tailored to your group’s learning objectives.

During all activities students are encouraged to explore how the stylistic techniques and practices they learn about could inspire their own art practice.

Schools groups are also welcome to participate in a self-guided tour.

Our education activities include:

Explore: Close Analysis

Groups are given analysis tasks to look carefully at a range of artworks

Analyse: Compare and contrast

Groups are asked to compare and debate pairs of works to gain deeper understanding

EVALUATE: YOU BE THE JUDGE

Groups are given evaluation criteria to critically evaluate artworks on display

DISCOVER: DRAWING AND INSPIRATION
