Slow Art Day with Josephine Cachemaille

April 6 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Slow Art Day with Josephine Cachemaille

6 April, 2–4pm
FREE with gallery entry for students
$10 for adults – To purchase tickets online, please click here

On average, a gallery visitor looks at a work of art for just 15 seconds. Slow Art Day, held at galleries and museums around the world, invites participants to slow down and focus on the art of seeing.

Slow Art Day has a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at, and loving, art and objects.

Come to Pah Homestead and get up close to the work of Josephine Cachemaille in Old Energies. Meet with the artist, grab a cup of tea or coffee and talk about what you have discovered by looking slowly. Of course, you’re free to stray from the Ballroom and select your own objects to ponder too!

Josephine Cachemaille

Josephine Cachemaille is an award-winning artist who makes installations, paintings and sculptures. She has had multiple solo and public exhibitions exploring her relationship with non-human materials and objects. She has degrees in Psychology and Fine Art, and a post-graduate diploma in Art and Design.
